Just a random pick for us visiting St Malo but a pleasant surprise. Entering the restaurant felt authentic and cosy, the reception friendly and positive. The menu was limited in a good way and gets changed periodically. We chose pumpkin soup and gravlax to start, both excellent and flavoursome. To follow we both had fish I had the salmon and my partner fish of the day. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection for us delicious with the sauces and garnish included. We had a fabulous bottle of wine ,white and suitably cold. For dessert a chocolate fondant and fruit crumble both delicious. While not budget the overall experience was enjoyable many thanks to the staff.
A wonderful couple of hours spent sitting outside enjoying lunch here, friendly staff who took time to explain the menu, gorgeous food and wine, nothing to dislike! Very much recommend
More then I expected from pictures I saw in internet. This place is full of charme and atmosphère , good is excellent and wine as well . I am Italian and I am very exigent with food , I tasted Salmon with citron gelly sauce and desserts , mine with lemon was delicious .
Great place to enjoy a dinner. By luck we secured the last table available. Each dish is beautifully presented. Anything that we tried from the menu was delicious. Certainly a unique experience in the old town.
A classic French bistro just like you imagine it in the books. We loved it. The food was delicious, the wine excellent and the staff incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!
This is the goodness of the French fine dining. I really loved the food specially the Salamon it's amazing with the sauce. The staff and owners where very and super friendly . I loved how they accepted the fact that we made lots of noises and laughing , we are truly sorry for that but we loved the food.
This place is a gem. A bit off the touristic streets, it’s rather small, looks unassuming, there’s hardly place to manoeuvre—though the people serving do so with ease—and yet the food was really great. We were lucky to get a table for 2 at around 19:20 but I would strongly advise to make a reservation. They turned down about 10 customers while we were there because the place was packed. Service is casual, professional, and when you have a question they take time to provide you the answer. Food was very good, just great. Don’t expect to be culinarily blown away—it’s not a star rated place—but it’s delicious. And a family run business to top it all. Great place.
An incredible experience. Probably the tastiest dessert I have ever had (the apricot crumble). Everything they did was excellently done. €71 for two mains, two drinks, a coffee, and a dessert. Very reasonable. 10/10 We will come back if we hopefully return to the local area again.
